All users can add a book, service, website, or other to the link directory. To do so:
- Register.
- Go to My Account at the top.
- Select Directory and then “Create a Link.”
or
- Go to your profile.
- Look for “Directory” in the sidebar list.
- A new menu will come up at the bottom of the sidebar called “My Links.”
- Select “Create a Link.”
- Add a link and then select a category. Important: wait a few moments after you select a category and a drop-down will show up where you can add a title and description. If you don’t, it will say, “Please fill in all required information.”
- If it does not detect an avatar – click “Avatar Options” and then customize. Save the link to be able to upload an image.
To edit an entry:
- Click “Home” in your directory listing – either in your profile or in the directory.
- Click Admin in the menu under My Links.
- Follow the prompts. See info above.
Note: make sure your links are publishing related. If you have several books, a blog, and something else, feel free to add several listings. If a link is voted up or down, this will affect where it shows up on the main directory page.
