I’ve been a freelance writer and reviewer, concentrating mostly on videogames and pop culture, for more than ten years. I also write fiction (YA and nice fantasy as Niko Silvester, steampunk adventure as Calliope Strange, and dark urban fantasy as Nic Silver) and do letterpress printing and hand-bookbinding, as well as traditional printmaking and both digital and film photography. Which makes me both a technophile and a luddite. Or something. Mostly, I just love books.
