Winners of the SPR Book Awards 2019 have been announced as:

WINNER – The Race To The Blackened Nevers – Douglas Bain (Canada)

A myth-filled adventure through a dark world with wondrous detailed writing and a stunning cover that stood out to the judges.

SILVER – The World Without Flags – Ben Lyle Bedard (Chile)

An emotional journey through a post-apocalyptic world in this YA zombie novel is both haunting and gripping, and somehow incredibly timely.

BRONZE – A Completing of The Watsons – Rose Servitova (Ireland)

No small task for the author when she took on finishing this little-known abandoned Jane Austen novel, creating a treat for any Austen fan.
